The McCord Museum has created La ville suspendue, an exhibition-installation that will travel across Montreal during summer 2017 to bring residents and visitors a slice of Montreal’s past along with the unique history of each district and moving stories from Montrealers.Old and contemporary photos and the personal narratives of residents will change to highlight the specific characteristics of each of the 19 visited boroughs. The city’s different faces and its development will therefore become chapters in the larger story of this travelling installation.A flagship event of the official programming for Montreal’s 375th anniversary.

Starting on June 14th, the multimedia show PEARL will be presented at the Théâtre Impérial in Montreal.  After a successful world premiere at the Lincoln Center in New York City last year, the show will launch its long anticipated North American tour in Montreal. The story, focusing on the substantial influence Pearl had on both Chinese and Western cultures, is brought to life through choreography by Daniel Ezralow (Ezralow Dance Company, MOMIX, Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony, Academy Awards). The show features dazzling visuals and a company of 26 dancers from China, Canada and the USA.
